"Dr. V" practices in this office for about 6 months ago. He is doing 4 dental implants for Lawson including surgery, bone graph,...& implant-crown for Lawson. It will take hree more months to completely done. Lawson & Kay are very happy with his work.
Dr. V is a graduate of the prestigious Marquette University School of Dentistry, and he has more than two decades of clinical experience. His extensive focus on postdoctoral education has led him to study with some of the world's premier institutions for advanced dentistry. As a result, he is able to provide such advances as laser dentistry, same-day porcelain restorations, Invisalign; "invisible" orthodontic aligners, and implants to restore missing teeth.
Despite his focus on clinical excellence, Dr. V's most compelling feature is even more rare-he takes the time to get to know every patient one on one.
Dr. V credits his Greek-American heritage for his intense focus on personalized patient care. He truly enjoys learning the latest dental techniques and providing hospitality to each and every patient.
Dr. Vareldzis is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International College of Oral Implantology, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Vareldzis and his wife, Debbie, have donated dentistry through Oregon Donated Dental Services and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.

We go to Dr. John Price. His mother is a resident. We feel he is very good, friendly, has a great staff all of whom do very good work. The only draw back is he is not young and may not be practicing as long as we will need a dentist

The DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) are the same degrees. Dentists who have a DMD or DDS have the same education. It’s up to the universities to determine what degree is awarded. Both degrees use the same curriculum requirements set by the American Dental Association.
Generally, three or more years of undergraduate education plus four years of dental school is required to graduate and become a general dentist. Upon completion of their training, dentists must pass both a rigorous national written exam and a state or regional clinical licensing exam in order to practice. In order to keep their licenses, they must meet continuing education requirements for the remainder of their careers so that they may stay up to date on the latest scientific and clinical developments. Additional post-graduate training is required to become a dental specialist, such as an orthodontist, periodontist or oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
