Brand new (used only one season) 8 Hp Yamaha 2 stroke long shaft with optional sailprop. Stewart tandem drop axle trailer was made for the boat. Recently overhauled and equipped with 5 new Carlisle radial ST 205/75R14 tires, new wheel bearings wiring and lights, A road worthy package for trailer sailing. A nice size for single handing. CS22 and trailer for sale Currently located in St. Clair, Michigan, 48079 John Butler design, Built 1974, 7/8 Sloop Rig, LOA 21’6”, LW 17’6”, Beam 8’, Draft 2’-5’Disp. 2200lb, Ballast 1100lb, SA 212 sq ft, Stripped weight for storage 4140 pounds (trailer, hull, mast), Trailering weight 4500lb (trailer, boat, outboard, full gear). Hull and deck in above average condition for a boat of this vintage. Mast and boom are straight and in very good shape with some light areas of oxidation. The exterior teak is in good shape, but will benefit from sanding and varnishing/oiling. Interior fiberglass and teak surfaces are in near new condition. Standing and running rigging are in very good shape. Gallivant has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by a mechanical engineer. She has been an excellent boat for this couple. We sleep well in the forward v-berth and leave the dinette set-up for eating and chart work. The electronics include compass, knotmeter with trip log, and a new ST50 autohelm depthsounder. The boat is in St. Clair Shores, Michigan and has always been sailed in fresh water. The Dodger had the 'glass' replaced last year. The cabin has a stainless steel Dickinson model Newport diesel-fired heater. There is pressure water, a manual marine head with holding tank, Y valve and overboard discharge. A marine survey was done May 27th, 2004 and all zincs and the exhaust elbow were replaced at the time. I accepted $56,500 CDN for my boat. I felt that was reasonable as by using the CSOA web site I was able to avoid the usual 10% commission that Canadian brokers take for not much service. To end up with that much in my pocket I would have had to get $61 or $62,000 through a broker and I think I would have been waiting a long time. All in all using the web site worked out well.

The deep fin CS36 T "Karasou" was build in 1982 and than officialy imported into the Netherlands. She is well kept with many upgradings. The bottom was epoxied 1 1/2 year ago to obtain osmosis prevention. The condition of the hull, engine and drive train is very good. Decks are teak laid and and there is also teak on the cabin top. Last year the complete drive train was overhauled. The yacht has also the more expensive original Gebo windows offered as an option and the hydraulic back stay adjuster. Sailing instruments are Signet on pedestal pots. Other extra items: furling genua, gennaker, GPS, new hot water tank (1999), Max Prop, (new) dodger with (canvas) cockpit enclosure, wintertent, inboard autopilot (Autohelm 6000) and a cabin heater. Price: $ 65,000 US (Dutch VAT paid).
The CS 36 T of my deceased neigbour/friend one year ago was also advertised on the CSOA site. I sold that boat for the widow in march of this year for a price of 124.000 Dutch guilders. At the present exchange rate that means US $ 51.000.

CS 36 T - 1984 for sale Solitaire is in excellent condition, and ready to cruise. She will sleep 6, but you'll want the quarter birth for stowage. We are moving-alas-to power. This beautiful CS36 traditional is shoal draft at 4'11" with 11'6" beam, white hull, blue stripe and transom. She is easy to sail with a Harken roller furler for her 110% Genoa, 155% Genoa. There is a cruising spinnaker (MPS w/sock) that we have never used, and her North main handles well, but we can supply lazyjacks. She has a Navteck hydraulic backstay. In 2001 we replaced the clear acetate windows of her blue Sunbrella dodger and had a removable cockpit shade cover made to match. Her saloon and Vee birth upholstery was replaced 1997 with an Ultra Suede upgrade. The head is a Raritan lever action. Other equipment includes an Autohelm 3000, Powerwinch windlass, 35 lb CQR and a 17 lb Fortress, and a salt-water washdown. The Galley is built around a Kenyon 3 burner propane stove with an oven and the igniters still work. The icebox is enormous with an electric drain pump. She comes with a Standard VHS, Micrologic Loran, Signet depth sounder, knotmeter, and wind speed-direction indicators, new Racor fuel filter, Promariner 20 amp alternator and 2 batteries with Automac regulator and isolator switch, and shore power.
